What are ManiCOINs?
They are the site's official points. They are used to measure your activity, compete, get cosmetics, take part in auctions and giveaways, and access exclusive perks within our community.
What is 1 ManiCOIN worth?
The base reference value for calculating tasks and surveys is 100 points = $1 USD. This helps us fairly balance the time you spend on the site with the available rewards.
How can I earn ManiCOINs?
In many ways!
- By completing surveys (CPX integration).
- By responsibly reporting site bugs (it helps prevent inflation).
- By uploading memes and interacting with the community (watch out, don't let Andando keep all the points!).
What happens if I get screened out of a survey?
We know it's frustrating to be rejected halfway through a survey. To reward your time, if a survey screens you out we will give you 1 consolation point (minimum floor), as long as we don't detect that you're trying to break the system.
Can I use a VPN to see more surveys?
Absolutely NOT. Survey providers like CPX have strict detection systems. If you use a VPN, the system will automatically block you and you could lose all the ManiCOINs accumulated in your account for breaking the security rules.
What can I spend my ManiCOINs on?
The internal economy is designed to burn points and have fun:
- Votes: Vote for the upcoming features we'll implement on the site.
- Customization: Buy custom avatars, ranks and medals to show off on the Leaderboard.
- Luck and Events: Buy giveaway tickets, open chests or take part in competitive auctions against other users.
- Gifts to the Team: You can use your points to send gifts to Piero or pay the hungry Team Piero in points so they keep coding improvements.
- P2P Economy: You can donate or send points to other users of the site for your own bets or community dynamics.
Do points expire?
Yes. To keep the database clean of ghost accounts, points have an expiration date if you stop using the site. However, you'll be able to pay a small fee in points to extend their expiration date if you plan on taking a break.
I found an error/bug in the calculator or the site, what do I do?
Don't exploit it! Report it immediately to Team Piero. We reward legitimate bug reports with ManiCOINs before someone tries to devalue the currency.
